Brad Peterson is a partner in the 50-lawyer outsourcing practice at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP in Chicago. Brad has represented U.S.-based customers in over $7.5 billion of outsourcing transactions. These transactions have included information technology outsourcing, business process outsourcing, offshore outsourcing, contract renegotiations, contract terminations and second-stage outsourcing. Brad has also represented information technology buyers in hundreds of information technology transactions, including software licenses, ERP implementations, software development agreements, hosted services agreements, telecommunications transport agreements.

Brad studied computer science as an undergraduate at Northwestern University (Phi Beta Kappa, 1980), received a master’s degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (M.B.A. cum laude, 1982) and his law degree from Harvard Law School (J.D. cum laude, 1988), where he was the managing editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. Before law school, Brad worked as a computer programmer and as an IBM Marketing Representative.
