Keshav Dhakad Anand and Anand, New Delhi | ![]() |
Keshav is a partner with the IP law firm of Anand & Anand, New Delhi and heads its IT and E-commerce law department. He joined the firm in 1999 and specializes in trademark and copyright advisory and litigation, Internet and information technology issues and anti-piracy enforcement. Keshav’s work also involves IP assignments, licensing and related transactional work. He regularly advises Microsoft and Business Software Alliance (BSA) on various issues pertaining to software piracy in India and has been instrumental in obtaining several judgments on damages granted by the Delhi High Court against violation of copyrights in software. Keshav speaks and writes frequently on IP law and related areas. Keshav graduated in law from Campus Law Center, University of Delhi in the year 1999 and completed his Masters (LLM) in IP law from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, USA in the year 2002 as part of his study sabbatical. He worked with the law firm of Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP in New York City in the year 2003-2004 before returning to Anand & Anand at New Delhi. Keshav obtained his license to practice before the New York State Bar in 2003 and is actively involved with the activities of Licensing Executives Society (LES). | ||
