Ulrich Bäumer, LL.M. (Washington, DC) is a German lawyer, US Attorney-at-Law (New York) and partner in the international law firm Osborne Clarke in Cologne. Osborne Clarke was voted the European Technology Law Firm of 2006 (European Technology Forum) and also the Law Firm of the Year 2006 (Legal Week). Ulrich co-heads the IT practice of the German firm and advises the clients of the international law firm mainly in the areas of IT and commercial law (with a focus on inbound and outbound investments with respect to India, North America and UK). He drafts and negotiates for his Indian and German clients complex international IT-project agreements (especially offshore IT outsourcing to India). Furthermore Ulrich Bäumer assists his clients with all other cross-border issues, including litigation.
