Mr. Hirani heads the transactional practice at Majmudar & Co., and is also the Managing Partner of the firm.

Mr. Hirani has been practicing since 1992. He is qualified to practise law in India, California, and England & Wales, although he is currently on inactive status in the latter two jurisdictions. His work experience includes a clerkship at the State Superior Court of Santa Clara County in San Jose, California, in 1995, and a stint at the London firm of Lawrence Jones in 1996.

Mr. Hirani's particular experience includes structuring investments of foreign companies into India, outsourcing, M&A, joint ventures, tax and corporate finance. He represents Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., Allstate Insurance Company, Wells Fargo Bank, Hitachi Metals Ltd., HSBC Software India, and many other international companies and banks in India.

Mr. Hirani has written extensively and spoken on outsourcing, technology protection in India, investment strategies into India, and related subjects at many international forums, including at seminars held by PLI and ATLAS Legal in the US, the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
