Dr. Axel Funk is
a partner in the firm's Technology Group. He is advising companies in the information
technology and telecommunications sector on drafting and negotiating contracts,
especially regarding software projects and outsourcing transactions.

Dr. Axel Funk received his law degree from the university of Munich. He is trained as banker at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt/Main, studied law in Augsburg, Tübingen and Munich, spent six months at patent lawyers AJ Park & Son in Wellington, New Zealand, 1992/93. Academic assistant at Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law, Munich 1990-1994. One-year secondment to law firm Miller Martin, LLP (formerly Glass McCullough Sherrill & Harrold, LLP), Atlanta, Georgia, 1996/1997.
