Jason I. Epstein is a shareholder in the Nashville office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC and chair of the Business and Technology Group. He concentrates his practice in business law, technology law,
mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He also acts as outside general counsel to a number of companies in various industries.
He has extensive experience in outsourcing business and technology negotiations from both the vendor and
buyer perspectives, including hardware and software development and acquisition, website design,
development, hosting and related services, open source code relationships, joint ventures, strategic alliances,
outsourcing and business process arrangements and other licensing arrangements. He also represents clients
from corporate structure determination, formation and private capital formation to mergers and acquisitions,
