Stephane is Joint Head of the International IT Sector Group at Bird & Bird. He also heads the IT Group of Bird & Bird Paris where he is based. With postgraduate qualifications in intellectual property law and IT and New Technologies Law from the University of Paris II and XI, he is an expert in IT law and copyright related matters. Stephane assists IT Services Providers in litigation matters as well as for their strategic projects. He also has acquired extensive experience in assisting large companies in international IT outsourcing transactions and BPO. Stephane has advised clients on IT/E-Commerce and Internet regulation and regularly writes for publications such as La Semaine Juridique and Expertises. He is also co-author of the French part of Graham Smith’s textbook Internet Law and Regulation (Sweet & Maxwell). Bird & Bird Paris and its IT department received the prize for the best team specialising in IT law at the Law and Litigation Award Ceremony (la Ceremonie des Trophees du Droit et du Contentieux) in 2007.
