Salman Waris LL.M., is a lawyer specializing in Intellectual Property and Technology law and is currently retained by FoxMandal Little, India's largest law firm. He has worked on a broad range of transactional, advisory and contentious matters in the IT and Intellectual Property area.

Mr. Waris has recently been recommended for his work by Asia Legal500. His practice covers technology, outsourcing, telecommunications, M&A and joint venture transactions. He regularly advises on outsourcing (IT or Business Processes), technology transfers and legal/regulatory issues concerning telecommunication, new media and the Internet. Mr. Waris graduated from the Aligarh Muslim University in 2003 with B.A.LLB (Honours) degree. He received his Masters in Information Technology, Media and E-commerce law from the University of Essex, UK in 2004 and also completed the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy from the Centre for Socio Legal Studies, University of Oxford in the same year.
