Thanks to the efforts of I-WIN Chairs and Members, the ITechLaw website is now the top Google-ranked site for "women in technology law," further cementing ITechLaw's established tradition of being a leading-edge force in the world of technology law. I-WIN List Serv a Hit!
Both members and non-members of ITechLaw are currently permitted to take part in the I-WIN List Serv, a private group email list dedicated to furthering the committee goals and supporting women around the globe. Current topics include discussions on how women advance their careers, become partners, and network in the most effective manner. Please join us today and become part of this unique and exciting program.

I-WIN Meeting Reports:

Robust Attendance at the ITechLaw Women's International Network (I-WIN) Meeting in Barcelona

An I-WIN Committee meeting took place at the ITechLaw European Conference in Barcelona on November 7, 2008. Women from around the world joined to network and discuss opportunities for women in ITechLaw.

I-WIN continues attracting new members and providing networking opportunities for women in technology law. Despite a late evening at the Gala Dinner, most female delegates awoke early the next day for the I-WIN meeting.

At the meeting, both new and existing I-WIN members had the opportunity to introduce themselves, describe their practices, and share information about recent developments in computer and technology law in their country. Business cards were exchanged and relationships were fostered. Information was also collected to prepare a directory including areas of expertise to encourage further contact and interaction among I-WIN members.

Meeting in New York
An I-WIN Committee meeting took place during the ABA Annual Conference in New York City, hosted by ITechLaw and the ABA Science & Technology Section. The meeting enjoyed robust attendance and many new members joined. For more information on upcoming meetings or to join I-WIN, please contact I-WIN Committee Chair Francoise Gilbert.

Meeting in Las Vegas
I-WIN held a meeting at ITechLaw's Annual Conference in Las Vegas, April 24-45, 2008. The meeting was a great success drawing many interested parties.

The meeting included breakfast, committee sign-ups, introductory remarks by ITechLaw Past President Enrique Batalla, discussion of I-WIN goals and events, a session of speed networking, and a comment period. New members signed up to take advantage of the committee's benefits, including a new List Serv dedicated to women in the tech law sector.
