Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of ITechLaw, it is a pleasure to invite you to attend the 7th Annual ITechLaw Asian Conference to be held in Bangalore, India on February 3-4, 2011.
This 7th Annual ITechLaw Asian Conference, will explore the latest regulatory, commercial and technology law issues being faced by emerging and growth industries in India and Asia, including software development, telecommunication, banking, entertainment, and semiconductors. Often seen through comparative analysis of global trends, the Conference program is designed to satisfy the needs of both a veteran and a young lawyer alike. You will learn the latest from the experts in the field, and you are sure to receive the high calibre of information that you, your firm and your clients demand.
The Co-Chairs for the Conference are developing several interesting programs that will both introduce you to emerging areas of law and practice as well as help improve your professional skills and expertise. There will be abundant opportunities to network with regulators, judges and lawyers from India, as well as from the rest of Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North America and South America.
The Travelling Fellowship Award will again be awarded to a young Indian lawyer (in house or practicing attorney), giving him or her the opportunity to travel and work with several prestigious law firms in Europe and possibly in the USA.
This year's conference will once again be held in Bangalore, India's high technology capital. Bangalore is home to many prominent India-based information technology leaders, as well as other global companies that have established corporate, manufacturing, research and development operations in this rapidly growing city. Bangalore is an especially fitting location for one of India's most prestigious conferences among information technology law professionals.
ITechLaw welcomes young and experienced lawyers, first-time attendees, judges, regulators, law students, finance, human resources, and other professionals. In addition to excellent programming, take advantage of building and growing your network of relationships internationally through some very enjoyable social events planned through the conference. Beyond obtaining insights and connections from the conference itself, the Gala Dinner provides an opportunity to sample Indian cultural events with your colleagues, and is an annual highlight for all who attend.
