Jyoti founded K&S Partners in 1994. He is the team leader on significant assignments of the firm, providing both hands-on legal advice as well as overall strategic inputs. He has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas including intellectual property, foreign investment and joint ventures, technology transfers, corporate commercial, media & entertainment, information technology, litigation and arbitration. He has worked extensively on several policy issues and has been associated with various committees of the Government of India and Chambers of Commerce. Jyoti is the Past President of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (Indian Group) and is Executive Member, Society of Indian Law Firms. He is associated with a number of national and international professional bodies and organizations. He is also a frequent speaker and presenter at national and international conferences and seminars. In addition to his practice in K&S Partners, Jyoti founded J. Sagar Associates (JSA) in New Delhi in 1991. JSA's practice is in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law. Jyoti graduated with Honors in Economics in 1972 and received his Bachelor's degree in Law in the year 1975 from the University of Delhi. He has also attended the 'Mergers & Acquisition Programme' at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
